Complete Graphic Organizer p. 39 on MLK JR Speech  (Blank copies of the organizer are on Website.)
Watch Video on class website and complete the Delivery Section of the graphic organizer

 Start Constructed Response Essay on page 49 for Martin Luther King Speech in Memphis.

Identify the elements of content (e.g., arguments, evidence, rhetorical devices, tome and mood) and organization that each speaker uses. Then explain which speech is most effective. Include specific evidence from each speech


Note students will be doing essays on both The Speech in Memphis and The Cesar Chavez Speech, 1984 speech.  The second essay will be next week and the speeches the beginning of Week 8.
