Wednesday	Writer’s Purpose is expository- that is to analyze the problem and possible solutions. Goal is to persuade your audience that your proposed solution is the one that they should chose. Analyzing Problems and Solutions Highlight and Annotate pp. 86-92 or 96-102 depending n edition of book.	Research Assignment: This assignment will prepare you for your Junior and Senior Projects.
Thursday Library	Find answers to questions through internet research using credible sources, write a coherent problem -solution essay under time constraints, learn about Works Cited Lists and MLA formats and prepare for your Junior and Senior Projects by conducting self-directed research.	Choose question Write 1 paragraph about why you want to solve this “problem.”
Friday Library	Provide a solid introduction to finding answers to questions through internet research using credible sources, write a coherent problem -solution essay under time constraints, learn about Works Cited Lists and MLA formats and prepare for their Junior and Senior Projects by conducting self-directed research.	Find 10 facts about the “problem.”  1 per index card.
